This cabinet is great for what I need. It is absolutely perfect for storing handguns and ammunition. The shelves that go inside are plastic and they are pretty well reinforced. The shelves do bow a little bit when a substantial amount of weight is applied to them, but they will not break under a reasonable load. Mine is mounted atop Stack-On's 18 gun convertible cabinet. The mounting hardware is included to not only mount it to the top of another Stack-On product, but to mount it to a wall or floor too. Fit and finish is nice, but packaging is slightly lacking on the part of Stack-On and Amazon. There are some minor blemishes on mine due to the shipping. My friend liked mine so much he bought one for the top of his Stack-On cabinet. Stack-On hit it on the head with this one! Nice product!
