cabinet was damaged ontop and bottom .paint was flaking off in chunks...oh the most upsetting thing is the crappy lock sticks ,key gets stuck in it..

Good simple security cabinet. Mine came with a corner bent, just used vice grips to bend it back. I would recommend replacing the 6 lags screws with hex head lag ones, the ones it comes with strip very easy.

It took me about two hours to cut out the drywall with a saw, install this cabinet in the back of my closet, and clean up the mess without anyone knowing about it. It comes with four shelves (one short, three full width) but if you plan to store long guns you can put the short or long one on top. If you put the long one on top there's room to put the short one the next step down. Of course this will only hold two long rifles and the shelves are too small for anything much bigger than ammo boxes. With two guns to either side there are plenty of holes up and down the middle of the rear which are begging for a some innovative way to hang stuff from. The only flaw is that the key is a little sticky in the lock but the whole thing it seems solid and secure, not to mention easily hidden. If it had more hanging options and maybe some kind of rubberized coating on the inside rather than the useless foam inserts this would be top notch for people with only one or two firearms.
